Obertron Lighting has used over 25 years of electronics experience at affiliate company Obertron Electronic Manufacturing to help develop our LED lighting. Obertron has been utilizing LED's for many years, placing them on fiberglass and aluminum backed printed circuit boards. We understand LED's, the thermal issues involved with them, and the electronics needed to drive them. LED's have many advantages over traditional light sources. They are smaller, have a longer lifetime, and use energy more efficiently.
Obertron Lighting has overcome the disadvantages associated with LED technology to make our light efficient, cool running and cost effective. Obertron Lighting uses a special Obersink Thermal Management Technology to take heat directly from the LED to the heat sink. We also use as few components as possible for cost savings and assembly labor savings.

Sensitive to the Environment
Our lights containing 80 LED's provide 8,500 lumens (based upon the LED manufacturer's specifications), while drawing only 98 watts. Our high power white LED's have a presumption lifetime of 60,000 hours rated at 70% lumen maintenance. This is achieved by our Obersink Thermal Management Technology. The entire product is RoHS compliant; there is no lead or mercury. With the restricted angles of the LED's recessed within the housing, the light is Dark Skies Friendly, with reduced light pollution.
Technologically Advanced
Universal power input of 120 volts to 277 volts standard for the light. Our LED lighting is instant on and instant off with no warm up or cooling period needed to reach full lighting capacity. Bright lights add minimal heat to indoor environment.
Designed for Ease of Use
Our Obertron Light is simple, compact and robust. It weighs only 11 pounds, including the power supply, meaning less strain on a light pole or hanging chain. With the lighter weight, it means easier installation on poles or chains. The Obertron LED light comes with a 5 year warranty, making it virtually maintenance free for that period of time.
The housing is powder coated for longer life in any environment. Our special gasketing and sealing make the light water resistant. 1/8 inch (3.2mm) clear tempered safety glass with ANSI-Z97 temper stamp, along with the cast aluminum housing and the extruded aluminum arms help to make our light vandal resistant.
